Architecture and architectural education serve as our mediums, rather than end products. Participants collaborate in pairs to devise solutions to local issues centred on Decolonisation, Decarbonisation, or Urban Equity. The studio is enriched by contributions from visionary architects who operate on the global stage, often at the periphery of the profession, driving it toward paradigms beyond traditional projects.
The outcomes from each duo may culminate in a building, but they are equally likely to materialise as frameworks, strategies, systems, products, events, or policies. This approach embodies a holistic perspective, encouraging innovative and multidisciplinary responses to complex societal challenges.
