Landscape Architecture Design Studio 3 explores two estuarine systems, the Ōhau River (Aotearoa) and the Hunter Estuary (Australia), considering how territorial-scale processes have shaped these landscapes over deep time and recent human settlement. Using analogue field-work practices alongside complex digital cartographic programs, students propose a future vision for these landscapes, and the communities who rely on them, by altering both large and small-scale landscape functions.
